A new year should bring new books…

I hope everyone is having a great new year so far!  It’s hard to believe that 2008 is over!  One of the biggest parts of my 2008 was the birthing of Bellissima!  As many of you know, we are a new company, having just started in June- so we’re still learning a lot!  Last year was chock full of learning all the ins and outs of starting up a new business from nothing but an idea.  I’ve learned so much that on more than one occasion my brain has felt like it’s been on a taffy pull!

But the most challenging has been in building and maintaining a website!  I’ll tell you that I have a brand spankin’ new respect for anyone who dares call him/herself a geek, and for any website that is functional- double respect if it’s beautifully designed!     The latter two have been my goal for this site, but as many of you know, I’ve had my share of technical difficulties!  I’ve come to the conclusion that there are few things that cause me more frustration than website problems. But the Lord has been faithful in each and every problem, usually through the help of a good friend who is a geek.  Thankfully as of this moment, everything is functional (that I know of!).

I’m looking forward to, in 2009, doing some video blogging (shall we call it “vlogging”? )  I hope next week to get one up here about some helpful natural do-it-yourself beauty tips; so check back then!

This book has been a wonderful resource that I have used time and time again!  Fun to do individually or as a group study.
