Natural Beauty Products Continued…
I finally have the second “vlog” up and ready, to continue on our learning adventure of how to make your own beauty products! I tell you, in a busy household, it can be quite a challenge subduing everyone long enough to get one of these recorded- keeping a busy family quiet can be something akin to the task of herding cats. It seems that if someone’s not coming in and out, the phone rings, or the dog barks.
I have really been enjoying my fragrant water that I made in our last vlog, as I hope you all have. In the morning as I make my bed, I use a few spritzes, and then when I turn down the sheets at night, I’m greeted with the sweet scent that reminds me that being faithful in even those small things, like making your bed, is rewarding.
Let me know how you’re enjoying yours!
And without further ado, join me in our family’s kitchen, and learn how to make your own body powder:
Check back next Monday for the next vlog, making your own bath salts.
Keep your eyes on Jesus,
~Marianna

Wow.. I envy you, I think i can also do this things like you do. I hope i too can make my own beauty product and share it with you guys. I think for now i just rely on the natural skin care products that i am using and i’m thankful that its effective and cheap.
They’re so easy, Maegan, if I can do them- rest assured that you can too!
But, glad that you have something that’s working for you in the mean time!
I just found your site. It so blessed my soul to see others who are trying to remain modest in a not so modest world! I am looking into ordering from your store. I plan to spread the word!
Thank you Carrie, so much for your encouraging words! We appreciate it so much!
May the Lord bless and keep your family- I enjoyed looking at your blog as well!

Wow! I just found your site today! A modest clothing site with clothes that are actually affordable!! Woo hoo! I hope to be able to purchase some items from you. I must say, I was terribly disappointed to find a shirt that I really liked but you don’t have it in my size. Oh well, there are other things I’d love to get from you. I think it’s so cool that you two are doing this as sisters. Y’all make such beautiful (yet modest:)!) models also! I hope you continue to add items to your store! And I agree, Nancy Leigh DeMoss is great, she has such a wonderful ministry! God bless you as you seek Him and serve young ladies with this site! Also the name and it’s meaning are so creative! I love it! Blessings, Anne
Hello Marianna,
I just discovered your site and I love it! Your modest yet stylish clothes are lovely and feminine! I will have to look around and think about purchasing something.
I know this sounds very ignorant, but I just had a silly question about this vlog. What is body powder exactly, and how do you use it? Thanks so much for your answer!
Blessings! Have a nice day.
~Annie~
Anne, thank you so much for your encouragement- your positive feedback means more than you know!!
Annie, it’s a great question!
Body powder is mostly used either for after-showering or when you just want to freshen up a bit, as it is dry and makes your skin feel soft, as well as providing a nice scent! It’s just one of those nice little luxuries in life.
I hope I explained it well there! Let me know if I didn’t.
Thanks for answering my question, Marianna! It was very helpful.
~Annie~
P.S. I would love if you would include a long, flared, tan skirt in your list of products!
Hello! I really like your blog and modesty website. I will look forward to your future posts.
It has blessed me that other ladies are wanting to be modest and serve Jesus.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Love in Christ,
Miriam from girlsoffaith123.blogspot.com
